The OCJF’s Youth Council

The OCJF’s Youth Council’s vision is to empower Orange County youth through advocacy, education, fundraising opportunities in support for immigrant detainees, and mobilizing the youth community to generate more support for the immigrant community.

The OCJF Youth Council (YC) was founded in January 2020 by a group of high school students from Orange County. Because of the pandemic, YC meetings take place via Zoom and plan to return to in-person meetings soon. The YC continues to focus on their goals, advocating for immigrants rights, that move closer to the OCJF’s mission and goals.

The YC calls on all high school and college students to join us in our fight to advocate for immigrant justice. If you are interested in learning more about the YC or joining us, complete the interest form for the Youth Council down below.

We look forward to meeting you!
