This giving season we are encouraging all OCJF sup This giving season we are encouraging all OCJF supporters to help ensure the continuation of OCJF’s mission in 2024!

OCJF was founded in 2017 through a collaboration of grassroot leaders, attorneys and law professors, to advocate for transformative change in the immigration legal system and support immigrants and refugees impacted by detention and deportation in Orange County.

Since 2019, OCJF has helped free 91 community members from immigration detention and has grown its programs to now include Legal Empowerment services, fellowships, and a post release support healing program.

Any and all donations will help strengthen the only immigration bond fund in OC, and ensure the continuation of OCJF’s vital services and programs for our community members impacted by immigration enforcement policies!
On Saturday November 4, OCJF's Executive Director On Saturday November 4, OCJF's Executive Director and Program Coordinator successfully hosted OCJF's first Legal Clinic. We are very thankful to have the support of the City of Irvine (@cityofirvine) and Irvine Councilmember Larry Agran (@councilmemberlarryagran) for supporting OCJF in providing resources to Irvine residents defending against deportation and entangled in the immigration legal system.

As of August, there are currently 1,497 Irvine and Lake Forest residents, defending against in deportation in immigration court, 30% do not have legal representation. OCJF’s services are reaching some of these individuals, but we know the need will continue.

Thank you to all of the volunteer attorneys for donating your time, and the community organizations who helped us make this happen! @wrsocal @publiclawcenter @westernstatecollegeoflaw @ucilaw immigrant rights clinic

President Biden has requested $105 BILLION in supp President Biden has requested $105 BILLION in supplemental funding (of taxpayer dollars!) for Israel, the border, IndoPacific initiatives & more.

Today! Communities are rising up to say: From Palestine to Mexico, All Walls Have to Go. Congress: Reject the #BidenDeathPackage. We demand a #CeasefireNOW & an end to military funding to Israel & abusive immigration enforcement agencies ICE + CBP.

We firmly reject billions for ethnic cleansing and border militarization. Further militarizing the deadly border & sending billions to Israel rather than providing public housing, education and healthcare to our communities. We demand safety for all - Black and Brown lives are not expendable.

#FreePalestine #DemilitarizeTheBorder #CeaseFireNow
#BidenDeathPackage

Israeli military strikes have murdered over 8,000 Palestinians, including over 3,500 children. We demand a ceasefire now, an end to all US military funding to Israel, and rejection of the $105 billion supplemental funding.

OCJF supporters from all walks of life gathered on OCJF supporters from all walks of life gathered on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, to raise awareness and funds for almost 13,000 OC residents facing deportation and those impacted by immigration enforcement policies outside of immigration court. We feel so lucky to have incredible sponsors, supporters, board members, and volunteers who all help OCJF generate change in the US immigration system, and we know that the journey to justice for immigrant and refugee community members is far from over.

With over $26,000 fundraised, OCJF can ensure the continuation of our vital programs and services and will continue to generate change in the immigration system for years to come.

This event would not have been possible without the support of you all, especially @vicentefsarmiento who spoke on behalf of the need for resources for those in immigration court and provided hope and understanding of the issue, @reploucorrea and @tammykimirvine, who continuously support us by recognizing members of the OCJF team for their dedication to OCJF's mission, @kingsphotos_bymr who captured the event with his amazing photography skills, @dannymunozofficial who kept spirits high and helped us successfully fundraise, @yellowblackbird for bringing the tunes, and especially Max who spoke on behalf of his experiences in immigration detention and his journey to asylum.

Thank you all for making this a truly memorable event.

Special thank you to our auction item donors who helped us fundraise, @natalierubalcava4anaheim, @angels, @dirtyprospector, Don & Lynn Daucher, @totalwinesocal, @alexmohajer, @davemin_ca , @tammykimirvine and @starklife.us

Since 2019, OCJF's has made a great impact within Since 2019, OCJF's has made a great impact within our community through our immigration bond fund with over 💸$398,300💸 contributed in bond fund support . Immigration Bonds range anywhere from $5,000 to $50,000+ leaving many detained OC residents and their families with the prospect of using a significant portion of their annual household income to post bond or have their loved one remain in lengthy detention. Although we are pleased to provide financial assistance, and other services to help community members successfully defend against deportation, we must ensure the sustainability and growth of OCJF. If you have not done so already please consider purchasing tickets or making a donation to OCJF's 6th Annual Fundraiser (link in bio!)

3 weeks away! Last year when fundraising for Ora 3 weeks away!

Last year when fundraising for Orange County Justice Fund’s annual celebration, we were raising awareness for 11,000 OC residents facing deportation. One year later, and nearly 2,000 more OC community members are facing deportation, separation from family and community, and fear returning to a place they had the courage and reason to leave. The increase in OC immigrant families facing deportation, consequently, means there are more individuals defending against deportation without legal representation and contributes to the increase of individuals detained in immigration prisons in California within the year.

Faced with the daunting reality that over 5,000 individuals have been deported at the Santa Ana Immigration Court in less than two years of its establishment, OC Justice Fund’s mission is more important than ever.

OC Justice Fund works every day to improve, develop, and grow the programs and services we have capacity to offer to community members impacted by immigration enforcement policies.  With your support we can expand and sustain OC Justice Fund’s programs and services to reach more OC community members impacted by immigration enforcement policies. If you have not done so already, please considering supporting OCJF’s Annual Fundraiser by purchasing tickets, becoming a sponsor, or making a donation (link in bio!)
